Liaise with the national climate change agency and NGOs to generate a comprehensive list of all Climate Change Adaptation Projects currently under execution/implementation in the country, particularly the ones addressing the communities capacity to adapt to Climate Vulnerability and Change

Prepare a compilation of “Best Practices” in Climate Change Adaptation activities for the country in the various vulnerable sectors

Set up the National Project Advisory Committee (NPAC), develop its TOR and conduct quarterly meetings.

Undertake awareness activities on Climate Change adaptation at all levels: Government agencies, communities and schools

Organize the non-formal training and training of trainers programs and conduct training of trainers actions at the Sub-regional  and  National level

Identify potential vulnerable sites for project implementation either in totality or complementary in nature with respect to governance on sustainable livelihood and with technical experts and the communities concerned, facilitate the development of Community CCA plans

Take approval/endorsement of NPAC to ensure no duplication/gaps for the final selection of the actual implementation at demonstration sites

Establish the Locally Managed Climate Change Adaptation Network to disseminate lessons learnt from the demonstration sites

Carry out any other tasks requested by the Project Manager, Community Engagement Component.
