Sharon Tohaimae is a new master student enrolled in Master of Science in Climate
Change programme. She came from the Happy Isles of Solomon Islands.
Sharon’s research interest is in coastal processes specifically in assessing the effects of coastal erosion and inundation that was induced by climate change on coastal communities. For her proposed project, she’ll be working with two coastal communities in Solomon Islands. And this study is aiming to help coastal communities to identify adaptation measures to build the communities’ resilience.
